It’s been exciting to see how quickly matcha has become one of the most requested teas in both retail and wholesale — and hojicha is following closely behind. However, the increase in demand has placed added pressure on already limited supply chains. Both matcha and hojicha are seasonal, labour-intensive teas sourced from Japan, and current supply is at capacity.

For now, access to matcha and hojicha is limited to existing wholesale customers who already order these teas. Quantities are allocated per shipment to help ensure fair access across accounts.
