New Pyramid Tea Bags!
Serve premium tea without slowing service. These pyramid tea bags are filled with the same loose leaf teas I blend for bulk orders, made for fast paced cafés and restaurants. They are plant based, compostable, and completely nylon free. The pyramid shape gives the leaves room to expand for full flavour. Each bag holds more tea than most on the market, comfortably covering a 350 to 500 mL cup while keeping per cup costs down.
Matcha stock update - March 2026
I currently carry five matcha options for wholesale. This includes one higher end Usucha matcha for traditional drinking and three grades suited for lattes, cafés, and culinary use. I’ve been able to purchase larger quantities of the current offerings at a better price and have passed those savings on in the listed prices.
Higher End Usucha Matcha
Matcha Mizukaze – Shizuoka is a premium matcha from Fujieda with a vivid apple green foam, creamy texture, and layered vegetal and floral notes. It is best suited for traditional whisked matcha or high end matcha lattes.
Culinary Designated Matcha
Japanese Latte Grade Matcha
I currently carry three Japanese latte grades: Shizuoka Latte Grade with naturally sweet notes of white chocolate, brown sugar, and vanilla. Nisho Latte Grade with a fuller green tea profile, subtle nuttiness, and a touch of toasted sesame. Shizuoka Cafe Blend, a solid, approachable starting point for cafés. All are designed for matcha lattes, smoothies, and café beverages.
Chinese Latte Grade Matcha
To provide a more affordable and stable option amid ongoing global supply challenges, I also offer Matcha Guizhou Café Blend from China. It has a vibrant green colour and balanced flavour with vegetal notes of arugula and light milk chocolate, making it an excellent everyday matcha for cafés.
Current Order Limits
Japanese high end matcha: 500g per order
Japanese culinary matcha: 2 kg per order (4 × 500 g).
Chinese culinary matcha 3 kg per order (6 × 500 g).
I will continue sourcing Japanese matcha as shipments become available and aim to maintain at least one Japanese and one Chinese option year round to help ensure consistent supply.
Samples are available. If you’d like to try any of the matcha options, just reach out and I can send some along.
Shop for Bulk Tea
Purchase tea in 250g, 500g, and 1kg quantities. 2kg bags are now available for the most popular blends. Packed in high barrier foil laminated CFIA food compliant bags.
Note: Order tea by weight, not bag size
Shop for Retail Bags & Tins
Purchase pre-packed 50g bags and tins for retail customers. Retail bags contain 50g, while retail tins are available in either 50g or 25g, depending on the tea’s volume. All retail tins are consistently sized at 4” high x 2.5” in diameter.
Shop Tea Bags
Serve premium tea without slowing service. These pyramid tea bags are filled with the same loose leaf teas I blend for bulk orders and are designed for fast paced cafés and restaurants. Made entirely from plant based fibres, with all materials meeting strict FDA and EU food safety standards. No nylon. The compostable pyramid shape gives the leaves space to expand and deliver full flavour. Each bag is filled with more tea than other pyramid tea bags on the market, allowing enough for tea for 350 - 500 mL serving, and lowering costs for larger servings.
